Part One - Picking My Target
I thought I’d take some time out from the war stories and share about how I go about selecting my ladies, what I do when I meet them (besides the usual stuff), and what I do afterward to insure repeat visits and top-notch service. I should offer this disclaimer: this is what has worked for me. It may not work for you. In fact, you may have better ideas. If so, please share with me!
I find all my providers on the Internet. My favorite sites for trolling are: CityVibe.com, Eros-Guide.com, The Erotic Review, SF Redbook, Troothsayerz, and the ever-popular CraigsList. In the San Francisco Bay Area, another good resource is Lovings.com. TER, Redbook and Troothsayerz are good for checking providers’ reviews and ratings from other guys who have boldly gone where a lot of men have gone before. The other sites are devoted to the providers’ ads, like a Yellow Pages of sex, so to speak.
I have several self-imposed rules for selecting a date online:
1) The provider’s ad must have a photo of the provider, preferably showing her face. If no face is shown, I won’t even consider responding unless there are a significant number of positive reviews on the provider. The photo should also look “real”; there are a lot of ads, esp. on Craigslist, containing obviously retouched photos of incredibly hot models, designed to lure the unsuspecting hobbyist into a bait-and-switch or rip-off situation. If in doubt, I search for positive reviews.
While not a prerequisite, the best ads are the ones that give a provider’s rates, schedule, and some idea of what to expect for your dinero. This way I automatically know if a provider is out of my price range or does not provide certain services.
2) I pay attention to how the ad is written. An ad that is typed in ALL CAPS or contains a lot of bad grammar and spelling raises red flags for me. Even though I’m not necessarily paying a woman for her English composition skills, I look at a provider’s ad as a résumé of sorts. A well-written ad often indicates a degree of professionalism and a commitment by the provider to good service and civil behavior. An ad that looks like it was written by the Unabomber makes me wonder if I’m going to get ripped off (meaning left with blue balls and an empty wallet). Once again, if in doubt, I search for good reviews.
3) Providers should have at least 3 recent positive reviews on TER, Redbook, Troothsayerz, or be personally recommended by at least 3 other hobbyists. As with the ads, I pay attention to how the reviews are written. It’s a known fact that providers will either write their own reviews or have friends do it in order to drum up business. I’m wary of reviews that speak in generalizations or read like letters to Penthouse Forum. The best reviews get into specifics about the provider’s place of business, her appearance, and mannerisms…read a few and you’ll start to notice the difference.
4) I only see incall providers, either at their place of business (typically their home) or at a reputable hotel.
5) I refuse to pay more than $300 for a provider, and for that amount she better be well-reviewed AND damn good. Oh, for the days of Susan and the $100 session...
6) I will only see providers that will engage in:
- DFK (deep French kissing), Making out with a woman makes sex hot, hot, hot.
- FS (full-service activity). That means fucking. None of this FBSM (full-body sensual massage) for me; I can jack off for free.
- MSOG (Multiple shots on goal). In other words, I get to do her more than once in a session.
DATY (Dining at the Y; translation – eating pussy) and anal sex are certainly pluses, but not requirements. So are a provider’s willingness to swallow my load or take it on her face or tits. Other pluses are a provider’s willingness to talk dirty or let me take her picture while we’re doing the deed.
Once I’ve decided on my date, the next step is that first call (or e-mail) to the lady in question. Stay tuned for Part Two - First Contact.
